For the Love of Feet.

Once in a while an accessory comes along that is life changing. For me, that must have accessory is, “Sexy Sweet Feet.” How many times have you ladies been out on the town and have gotten to the point where you were about ready to throw what were your favorite heels at the beginning of the night, straight in the dumpster? We’ve all been there. No matter how much of a heel wearer you are, or how tough you think your feet are, we all have a breaking point.

My personal worst, “high heel hatred” moment was while walking The Strip in Vegas. At one point I completely gave up and sat down on the steps of Caesars Palace, not caring about what would happen to my solid white dress. In my moment of utter defeat, I took off my once beloved shoes and told them I didn’t care what happened to them, I was leaving them there. How could they hurt me this way? Those shoes are still homeless somewhere in Vegas.

I tell you this anecdote because, “Sexy Sweet Feet” owner Jacyln Hall runs SSF out of Las Vegas, Nevada. I can only imagine Ms. Hall had a similar, “high heel hatred” moment on the infamous Strip. “Sexy Sweet Feet” will undoubtedly become a staple in your wardrobe. You can still start the night out in your favorite heels but when you’ve danced your little heart out and your boyfriend isn’t in the mood to give you a piggy back ride all the way home, you can just slip on your SSF and strut your way home, stilletos in tow.

“Sexy Sweet Feet” come in sizes, S (6-7), M (7.5-8.5), and L (9-10). They are available in colors black, gold and silver. The soles of the Sweet Feet are made out of EVA and rubber which are both non slip and skid proof. The upper shoe is made of Polyurethane material. The shoes also come with a great tote bag so you do not have to leave your precious heels on the steps of Caeser’s Palace. The bag is made out of polyester and is 10x12 inches.

Sexy Sweet Feet are $20.00 and are available right here at Che Bello Boutique!

Wood is the Word.

With all the “natural” trends on the rise, in just about every aspect of our culture, it seems only appropriate to incorporate this fad into our everyday fashion.

Che Bello has tapped into the “natural” market with stylish wooden watches and sunglasses from Silvano Apparel.

The Carpentier Collection Sunglasses

These glasses/sunglasses are lightweight, flexible and unisex. They can be dressed up or down from a day on the beach to a night on the town. Silvano offers a great twist on the traditional Ray-Ban-esque sunglasses and they will only run you $45.00.

The Barkwood Collection Watches

Again, Silvano delivers comfort, style and variety with their Barkwood Collection. These watches are, again, lightweight and come in unisex and mens sizes. Here at Che Bello we carry the colors tan, hunter green and mahogany. This staple accessory will for sure be a conversation piece and will only cost you $80.00.

FASHION TIP: You don’t need 100 accessories at once to make an outfit! Just one stellar accessory can be all you need to create the perfect look.

So shoppers try something new this summer and start the “wood trend!”

Clothes to weather the weather.

“It’s spring! Oh, nope…wait a second it’s the middle of winter again.” If you are from Upper Michigan you have undoubtedly said that exact sentence, many times.  Yet most of us “yoopers” want to bust into spring as soon as possible. So instead of keeping a spare snowsuit and snowshoes in your backseat, that end up ruining your cute outfit, find some great statement jackets and work with layers!

Here I have created an outfit that has hints of spring but also a great little jacket for, “just in case.”

First off we have great little boot cut jeans in a beautiful light wash.

FASHION TIP: All jeans are NOT alike! Be sure to match not only the cut of you jeans but the wash/color are also vital.

These light jeans are great for this outfit, they go with the softness of the rest of the look. Next is this beautiful long three color tank. Having the dark blue and soft pink makes this a perfect weather transition piece.

Now the great little suede jacket. It’s a very nice loose fit jacket and it is very versatile. A great staple for anyone’s spring time closet. Then we have the accessories. The long soft gold colored chain really pulls this look together. It dresses it up just the right amount that it can be worn day or night. Lastly the lovely oversize lavender bag. Nothing says spring like pastels! But be wary, of them, just a dash here and there will really make your look perfect for the season.

FASHION TIP: Keep the pastels to a minimum, you don’t want to look like an Easter egg!

Again I have broken down the pieces for you lovely readers so you can see how accessible this look really is!

Texture, texture, read all about it!

What makes the perfect outfit? Accessories? Colors or lack there of? Silhouette? Yes, all of those are very important in creating your daily fashion, but in day to day fashion the texture of your pieces can often be overlooked.

Texture is everywhere in fashion. Furs, feathers, beadwork, and knits are all obvious textures because we see them. But, textures are everywhere, in every article of clothing. It may be visible, it may be felt, it may reflect light, it might even be spikes that could take an eye out. Texture doesn’t have to be as scary as a meat dress or as obvious as a Kermit the Frog dress. I’m here to give you fashionistas some ideas that can be used in your wardrobe and not just on the red carpet or catwalk.

FASHION TIP: Don’t let fashion scare you. Style doesn’t have to be overwhelming.

Here is a look from our store that shows how accessible textures can be.

The textures used in this look make it more unique than your typical pencil skirt and white blouse. Granted the pencil skirt/white blouse is a staple in every woman’s closet, but why not spice it up a bit?

FASHION TIP: Add a bit of your own attitude to the classics.

 Now let’s break it down!

Piece by piece:

All pieces are available at Che Bello Boutique

Cami top by M. Rena // $16.00

Blouse by Aggie//$24.00

Skirt by Do & Be//$25.00

Bracelet//$12.00

Purse//$38.00

Earrings//$14.00

In this outfit we have multiple types of textures.

The blouse has the light lovely ruffles giving it not only great texture but adding to the silhouette as well. The sheerness of the blouse also can add texture taking on shines and transparencies in different lighting.

The skirt: Obviously the star of this outfit, has a crocodile look to it but it is soft (and comfortable) as can be. The soft cotton of the skirt with the leather looking appliques that make up the crocodile print give texture in feel, look, and lighting. Mixing fabric types like this is always going to be an eye catcher and a great way to put that twist on the classics.

The accessories: Here we used the accessories to give the outfit even a little more, “pop.”  The beaded bracelet, the chain on the purse, and the movement of the earrings give this look the final touches to make it, the perfect outfit.

Love the look? All items are available at Che Bello!
